Role: Passive Fire Site Manager
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £50,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for a recruiting for a Passive Fire Site Manager in London. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of fire doors, firestopping, and passive fire solutions in various settings, including commercial and residential properties. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in upholding industry standards and keeping people safe from the threat of fire.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess completed installations for current and future contracts to ensure the highest quality work.
- Oversee installations, repairs, and maintenance in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of fire doors to identify deficiencies or issues.
- Collaborate with the project team for timely and accurate installations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Document work completed, including inspection reports and maintenance records.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns.
- Manage materials and stock, keeping up-to-date logs and conducting regular stock takes.
- Organise installers and subcontractors daily, including carrying out inductions.
- Perform other tasks as requested by the contracts manager
Experience and Certifications Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of fire door, firestopping, and passive fire standards and regulations.
- A clean UK driving license.
- SSSTS / SMSTS.
- NVQ Level 3 or above.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- FIRAS/Qmark experience.
