Role: Passive Fire Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + Car or Car Allowance
Technical Resources are seeking a dedicated Passive Fire Protection Quantity Surveyor to join a Fire Division, where you’ll take charge of the financial management of fire protection projects. You will play a vital role in ensuring our projects meet financial targets while maintaining effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial management of fire protection projects to ensure targets are met.
- Ensure timely payments and manage work values.
- Report all commercial and financial aspects of contracts to your line manager.
- Identify and mitigate key financial risks, providing regular updates to the business.
- Liaising with clients and their representatives to meet project requirements.
- Managing commercial aspects of contracts, including valuations, cash flow forecasts, and subcontract processing.
- Monitoring costs for labour and materials to maintain profitability.
- Preparing external valuations and incorporating variations or additional work.
- Conducting pre-measures for accurate and competitive tender pricing.
- Attending contract meetings to ensure smooth project progress.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Fire Doors and Fire Stopping Quantity Surveying.
- A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Proficient in IT applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A driven, goal-oriented attitude with basic knowledge of Health & Safety.
