Role: Passive Fire Project Manager
Location: South London
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + Car
Technical Resources are looking for an experienced Passive Fire Project Manager to deliver and oversee fire stopping and fire door projects across London. You’ll manage a portfolio of works, ensure quality and compliance, and lead site teams through to successful completion. This is a permanent role with a growing business offering long-term stability, autonomy, and the chance to shape fire safety delivery across a variety of commercial and residential sites.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of passive fire protection projects – from mobilisation to handover
- Oversee delivery of fire stopping and fire door installation/maintenance works
- Ensure all projects are delivered in line with relevant FIRAS/BM Trada standards
- Price and prepare quotations for upcoming works
- Manage site labour, subcontractors, and operational delivery teams
- Track budgets, monitor P&L performance, and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Regularly travel between project sites and the office
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience managing fire door and fire stopping projects
- Strong understanding of FIRAS, BMTrada, and related compliance/accreditation
- Good technical understanding of passive fire systems and safety legislation
- Experience in preparing costings/quotations for works
- Effective leadership, communication, and reporting skills
- Full UK driving licence
