Role: Passive Fire Project Manager (Fire Doors)
Location: Surrey
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Technical Resources are seeking a Passive Fire Project Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead multiple fire door installation, upgrade, and maintenance projects across Surrey. You’ll take ownership of projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest compliance and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fire door projects from start to finish, ensuring operational, financial, and safety targets are met.
- Plan resources, oversee site delivery, and coordinate with contractors and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with passive fire protection legislation, British Standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor progress, budgets, and quality through inspections, audits, and reporting.
- Provide technical guidance, ensuring best practice installation and high-quality results.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
- Identify risks and resolve issues quickly to keep projects on track.
- Promote health, safety, and compliance across all sites.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven track record as a Project Manager within passive fire protection, with specific expertise in fire doors.
- In-depth knowledge of fire door regulations, compliance, and installation standards.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with commercial responsibility.
- Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- IT literate with strong reporting and project tracking experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
