Are you looking for a Passive Fire Estimator position working in Gillingham? As a Passive Fire Protection Estimator, you will play a key role in providing accurate and competitive quotations for passive fire protection projects, helping to make buildings safer and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
Responsibilities :

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for new installations and remedial works.

Review drawings, specifications, and site reports to produce compliant tenders.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

Support tender submissions and ensure all proposals meet technical and commercial requirements.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth handover from estimation to delivery.

Stay up to date with fire protection legislation, standards, and best practices.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience as an Estimator within the Passive Fire Protection or Fire Safety industry.

Strong knowledge of fire doors, fire dampers, fire stopping, and smoke control systems.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.

Confident communicator able to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Familiarity with relevant fire protection standards and regulations.
