Location: Gillingham
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Are you looking for a Passive Fire Estimator position working in Gillingham? As a Passive Fire Protection Estimator, you will play a key role in providing accurate and competitive quotations for passive fire protection projects, helping to make buildings safer and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for new installations and remedial works.

  • Review drawings, specifications, and site reports to produce compliant tenders.

  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

  • Support tender submissions and ensure all proposals meet technical and commercial requirements.

  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth handover from estimation to delivery.

  • Stay up to date with fire protection legislation, standards, and best practices.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the Passive Fire Protection or Fire Safety industry.

  • Strong knowledge of fire doors, fire dampers, fire stopping, and smoke control systems.

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.

  • Confident communicator able to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

  • Familiarity with relevant fire protection standards and regulations.
