Role: Operations Manager
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for an Operations Manager to oversee reactive, remedial, and small works delivery for a Housing Association. This hybrid role requires strong coordination skills, a focus on compliance and performance, and first-line management of field-based engineers and subcontractors across the South East.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of reactive, remedial, FRA and small works calls to meet contracted KPIs
- Manage open calls, exceptions over 10 days, and high-priority Fire Risk Assessments
- Liaise with and manage specialist subcontractors when required
- Carry out post-inspections and maintain a high level of engineer performance
- Support with holiday cover across Ops Support and Contract Management
- Maintain compliance with health & safety and Q&E systems
- Weekly timesheet reviews, reporting, and performance feedback
- Hybrid role: 50% office/home based, 50% field-based
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Strong operational management background within fire & security, housing, or compliance-based services
- Experience leading teams of engineers and coordinating subcontractors
- Knowledge of compliance around FRA, remedials and reactive maintenance contracts
- Confident reporting to Contract Managers and liaising with clients
- Full UK driving licence
