Milestone Commissioning Engineer

Rate: £325 p/day
Are you looking for a Milestone Commissioning Engineer position based in Inverness? As a Milestone Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning Video Management Systems (VMS), integrating CCTV devices, and ensuring that system performance meets the client’s operational requirements. You will be working for a specialist security integrator delivering surveillance upgrades across commercial sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Commissioning and configuring Milestone XProtect VMS
- Integrating IP CCTV cameras, servers, and network video recorders
- Conducting system performance testing and validation
- Producing commissioning documentation and updating system records
- Supporting installation teams during final sign-off
Experience required:
- A minimum of 3+ years’ experience working on IP CCTV and VMS platforms
- Strong knowledge of Milestone XProtect, licensing, and device packs
- Understanding of network infrastructure, switches, and server hardware
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS or CSCS Card
- Standard PPE
- Laptop capable of running commissioning software
- Basic hand tools
