Role : Lead BIM Technician
Location: Remote
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum

Are you a skilled BIM Technician looking to take the next step into a lead role? Technical Resources are recruiting on behalf of a leading security systems integrator that specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of high-end, enterprise-level security systems for blue-chip and high-security environments.

Responsibilities :

  • Create detailed security system models using Revit (MEP or electrical background preferred).

  • Maintain and develop drawings and models throughout tender, construction, and installation stages.

  • Analyse design alterations and mark-ups using Bluebeam.

  • Convert sketches and engineering principles into precise technical drawings.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and sales teams to ensure design accuracy.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

  • Take ownership of specific project design elements, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar BIM role within the security industry, ideally in data centre environments.

  • Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, DiRoots , and Excel.

  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, codes, and best practices.

  • Proven experience developing and implementing BIM workflows and strategies.

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
