£28,000 to £32,000 per annum
Are you a Junior Fire and Security Engineer looking for a new Opportunity. This is an ideal role for someone just starting their career in the fire and security industry, including recent apprenticeship or university graduates, or those looking to gain hands-on experience. Full training will be provided on intruder and access control, fire detection, and CCTV systems.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate van stock control and equipment storage in partnership with the Stores Person
- Carry out monthly van, compliance, and health and safety checks
- Perform scheduled tests on emergency lighting and fire alarm systems across a range of sites
- Ensure compliance with company protocols, industry standards, and health and safety regulations
- Report safeguarding or system faults proactively
- Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent service
- Represent Severnside Security Ltd professionally on-site
- Work collaboratively with Service Team Coordinators to ensure effective workflow and customer satisfaction
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Skills and Experience Required:
- Basic knowledge of Fire & Security systems
- Willingness to learn and progress within the industry (training provided for intruder, access control, CCTV, and fire detection)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong organisational skills
- Proactive problem-solving with attention to detail
- Professional conduct and appearance
- Collaborative and respectful team player
