: Installation Engineer

Salary:
£38,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you an Installation Engineer with a strong background in security systems? You’ll be joining a skilled team installing security solutions across customer sites. This role requires initiative, autonomy, and flexibility to adapt to changing projects and workloads. If you enjoy variety and hands-on installation work, this could be your next opportunity.
Responsibilities :

Install, configure, and handover security systems at customer premises.

Review project files and ensure equipment meets requirements in liaison with the project manager and client.

Plan, schedule, and execute installations to meet project timelines.

Complete commissioning and handover documentation.

Provide basic client training on system use or arrange with other departments.

Liaise with the Service Department for smooth handover of each installation.

Support and monitor junior engineers, offering guidance and reporting performance to the project manager.

Maintain timekeeping, expense sheets, and company vehicle/equipment.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience as an Installation Engineer in security systems.

ECS/CSCS card essential.

Strong initiative, autonomy, and flexibility in approach to work.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of BS EN ISO9001 and NACOSS procedures beneficial.
