£32,000 - £36,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced and professional High Security Engineer to join our specialist team delivering high-grade security installations and maintenance across sensitive and high-risk environments. You will work with advanced electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and biometric technologies, ensuring all work meets the highest levels of compliance and operational integrity.
Responsibilities :

Install, commission, and maintain high security systems including:
-
Intruder alarms (Grade 3/4)
-
IP & hybrid CCTV systems
-
Access control (including biometric solutions)
-
System integration and secure communication protocols
-

Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency call-outs
-
Ensure compliance with industry standards including BS 8243, NSI, EN50131, and SSAIB guidelines
-
Work on secure sites such as government facilities, MOD locations, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure

Liaise with clients, consultants, and site security personnel to meet technical and operational requirements

Prepare and submit detailed service reports, certification paperwork, and system documentation
-
Follow stringent site security protocols and maintain a professional standard at all times

Keep up to date with technological advances and evolving security threats
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Proven track record of installing and servicing high security electronic systems

Experience with brands and platforms such as:
-
Galaxy, Texecom Premier Elite, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon , Hikvision, Axis, Paxton, Morpho, etc.

Familiar with biometric systems, IP-based technologies, encrypted communication systems
-
Skilled in technical fault-finding, programming, and integration
-
Experience working in sensitive or regulated environments (e.g. CNI, defence, government, banking)

Competent with technical drawings, wiring schematics, and site layouts
