Job Title: Groundworker - SHEA Gas
Location: Kingston Upon Hull
Rate: £195 p/day
Are you an experienced Groundworker with experience working on Gas sites? We are looking for a Groundworker to join a team working on a gas site in Kingston Upon Hull. The role involves site preparation, excavation, machinery operation, and general labouring duties. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major project while ensuring the site meets all safety standards.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Support with the preparation, setup, and maintenance of sites.
- Excavate areas and dig trenches.
- Operate machinery.
- Carry out general labouring duties.
- Ensure that safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
- Communicate with other team members.
Experience required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in groundworker roles on gas sites.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- SHEA Gas.
- Basic DBS (to be obtained after start).
- Abrasive Wheels.
- Manual Handling.
- CPCS or Equivalent Card Holder.
- CCNSG Safety Passport or Equivalent.
- HSG47.
- First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW).
- Orange flame retardant overalls.
