Location: London

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum + Expenses

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Graduate or Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic commercial team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or those with up to a year of experience, offering hands-on exposure to all aspects of project delivery in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior Quantity Surveyors with valuations, variations, and final accounts preparation.
  • Support contractual administration and assist in resolving commercial queries.
  • Contribute to cost estimates, tender submissions, and procurement packages.
  • Monitor project costs and assist with financial forecasting.
  • Conduct site visits to support commercial assessments and track progress.
  • Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure effective communication and reporting.
  • Help with document control and commercial record-keeping.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline (Desirable but not essential).
  • Ideally 1+ years of industry experience (including placements), preferably with exposure to M&E or electrical packages.
  • Basic understanding of commercial processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and document management.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel to sites across London.
  • Proactive, practical, and a team player with strong communication skills.
