Technical Resources is currently seeking an experienced Gent Commissioning Engineer to oversee the commissioning of fire detection systems at various public sector sites. This role involves a high level of responsibility, including auditing, organising materials, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Description of Contract/Programme of Works:
- Commission fire detection systems, ensuring all components function seamlessly.
- Conduct audits of work completed by subcontractors to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Organise parts and materials necessary for commissioning tasks.
- Attend pre-start meetings and support the Project Manager with on-site project management duties.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols on site.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commissioning fire detection systems.
- Must be Gent trained and possess a valid Gent number.
- Proven ability to manage projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Required Documentation/Certifications/Tooling:
- ECS card is essential.
- Contractors must provide their own laptop and hand tools.
