: Fire Systems Field Line Manager

Are you an experienced Fire Systems professional looking to step into a high-impact leadership role? As a Fire Systems Field Line Manager, you will oversee field operations across the London region, ensuring your engineering team delivers exceptional service, meets compliance standards, and strengthens long-term client relationships. You will be working for a well-established fire and security provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solutions across the UK.
Responsibilities :
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships through regular review meetings
- Manage and coordinate the daily duties and performance of an engineering team
- Take ownership of allocated key accounts and service contracts
- Work closely with the operations and administration team to support efficient service delivery
- Oversee all works in your region, including RAMS, first-time fix rates, deadline adherence, planned maintenance, remedial work,s and real-time documentation submissions
- Manage and monitor job budgets, providing justification for increases or variations
- Carry out engineer audits, including PDA usage, paperwork checks, timesheet and mileage records, and vehicle inspections
- Undertake client site audits, reviewing O&Ms and site documentation
- Monitor supplier and subcontractor costs within the region
- Identify training needs in line with accreditation requirements and industry standards
- Produce monthly and ad-hoc reports for management
- Conduct engineer appraisals and probation reviews
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Demonstrable experience in the fire systems industry in a supervisory or management role
- Background in customer-facing environments with strong communication and client management skills
- Proven people-management experience with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Professional, organised, and committed to high-quality service delivery
