50,000 - 55,000 + 4,000 travel allowance
Technical Resources are working with one of the UKs largest facilities management companies that work across the Utilities, Data, Government, Education and Healthcare sectors. They currently have an urgent need for a Fire Systems Design Engineer based in the Berkshire area for a hybrid role. The role will suit an experienced Design Engineer who has experience designing large scale and complex networked fire systems.
Responsibilities :

Design of Fire Detection and Alarm systems for new installations and system extensions

Estimating, surveying, and pricing projects

Producing proposals and technical drawings using AutoCAD

Liaising with on-site management to ensure compliance with internal procedures

Attending client and site meetings

Preparing client reports and maintaining complete project documentation from design to verification

Providing monthly updates and attending contract review meetings
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Strong understanding of UK fire alarm regulations
-
Proficient in AutoCAD
-
Qualifications in industry standards and fire detection products (FIAs desirable)

Electrical background essential

Hybrid working model: minimum 3 days on-site, with 1–2 days remote working
