Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Engineer
Location: Essex
Rate: £32.25 p/hour
Are you looking for a Fire Sprinkler Engineer position working in Essex? As a Fire Sprinkler Engineer, you will be carrying out enhancement works on an existing system for a major fire protection contractor. This is an above-ground installation role involving both screw and grooved pipework.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Cutting, assembling, and installing pipework
- Installing brackets, hangers, and sprinkler heads
- Snagging and remedial works
- Working with both screw and grooved pipe systems
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in passive fire installation
- Familiarity with fire sprinkler system enhancements
- Skilled in both screw and grooved pipework installation
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS card – essential
- IPAF – beneficial
- Own steps and hand tools
- Pipe threading and cutting equipment
- Manometers
