Job Title: Fire Service Engineer
Location: Essex
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire Service Engineer based in Essex? We need you to carry out reactive maintenance and repairs on fire alarms and emergency lighting systems across Essex and surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to work with both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, handling PPMs and reactive faults/remedials.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems.
- Work on addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PPMs) and handle reactive faults and remedials.
- Ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.
Experience required:

Competent Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer with relevant experience.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS check (essential).
- Hand tools.
- Test metres.
- Smoke poles.
- Battery testers.
- Full PPE.
- Steps and ladders.
- Android phone (for job tracking).
