Job Title: Fire Service Engineer
Location: East Midlands
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Fire Service Engineer role covering the East Midlands? As a Fire Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and replacement of portable fire extinguishers across a range of client sites. This is a mobile role involving travel across the region to service commercial and public premises.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Routine maintenance and servicing of portable fire extinguishers
- Replacement of faulty or expired units
- Completion of on-site reporting and compliance checks
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working on fire extinguisher servicing
- Confident working independently across multiple sites
- Good understanding of fire safety regulations and extinguisher types
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS – essential
- Own hand tools and power tools
- Fire extinguisher testing and service equipment
- Full PPE
