Are you a Fire & Security Service Engineer based in London? Looking for a role where your technical expertise is supported and rewarded? Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire & Security Service Engineer to carry out routine servicing and reactive maintenance of fire detection and security systems across residential and commercial premises.
Responsibilities :
● Maintain, service, and fault-find on fire alarm and security systems across customer sites
● Attend routine and emergency callouts within your geographic area
● Ensure all works comply with relevant industry standards including BS5839, BS6266, BS EN54
● Provide accurate reporting and system documentation
● Communicate directly with clients regarding system status and appointments
● Attend toolbox talks, team briefings, and technical training sessions
● Collaborate with internal teams across Scheduling, Technical Support, and Stores
Experience and Certifications Required:
● A minimum of 2 years' experience in a fire and/or security servicing role
● Multi-discipline background across fire alarms, intruder, access control, or CCTV systems preferred
● Working knowledge of BS5839, BSEN50131, and NSI/BAFE standards
● Electrical or electronic engineering background desirable
● Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
● Strong communication and organisational skills
