: Fire & Security Service and Installation Engineer

£35,000 to £38,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire & Security Service and Installation Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and security company. This role involves the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of fire detection and electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites.
Responsibilities :

Install, commission, service, and maintain Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.

Carry out fault finding, callouts, and planned maintenance across a variety of systems.

Deliver small to large-scale installation projects, ensuring quality and compliance.

Review specifications, drawings, and documentation to support efficient delivery.

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Identify potential upgrade or sales opportunities during site visits.

Complete job sheets and reports accurately and on time.

Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and technical standards.

Mentor and support junior engineers when required.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- 2–5 years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry.

Proven ability to install, test, commission, and service:
- Fire Alarms: Morley, Advanced, Kentec
- Intruder Alarms: Galaxy, Texecom
- CCTV: Samsung, Axis, Honeywell
- Access Control: Paxton
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of BS and EN standards.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic reporting systems.
