Location: East Midlands
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager, primarily focused on Fire systems, looking for a role in the East Midlands where you’ll manage multiple projects and play a key part in business performance? As a Fire & Security Project Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of fire and security projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring compliance, safety, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing up to 10 Fire & Security projects simultaneously, ranging from £10k to £250k
  • Coordinating subcontractors and raising purchase orders for site works
  • Overseeing project delivery to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Managing procurement, installation and removal of equipment
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers to meet project requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, including site safety records
  • Developing project specifications, work plans and regular progress reports
  • Approving invoices and maintaining accurate project databases
  • Conducting site surveys and managing procurement of labour, materials and equipment
  • Working closely with the Operations Manager and Director to control costs and maintain profitability
  • Monitoring project timelines and progress against schedules
  • Maintaining up-to-date site records and operative diaries
  • Ensuring compliance with method statements and risk assessments
  • Assisting with testing and commissioning activities

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience as a Fire & Security Project Manager, with a strong focus on Fire systems
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong understanding of Fire & Security industry standards and compliance
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and internal teams effectively
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience
