£50,000 to £60,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Fire & Security Operations Manager based in Birmingham, looking to step into a leadership role where you can genuinely shape and grow a division? As a Fire & Security Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of project delivery, team leadership, and operational structure across installation, service, and maintenance activities. You’ll be working for a growing electrical contractor that is actively expanding its Fire & Security offering.
Responsibilities :
● Lead and manage Fire & Security engineers across installation, service, and maintenance works
● Drive operational performance, scheduling, and effective resource planning
● Oversee quality, compliance, and health & safety standards
● Provide technical leadership, support, and mentorship to engineering teams
● Work closely with senior management to develop Fire & Security offerings
● Monitor project costs, progress, and client satisfaction
● Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as required
Experience and Certifications Required:
● Proven experience in Fire & Security operations or engineering management
● Strong technical understanding of CCTV systems (primary focus), fire alarms, intruder alarms, and access control
● Background in electrical engineering or building systems (preferred)
● Confident leadership, organisational, and communication skills
● Midlands-based with flexibility to travel to sites
● Full UK driving licence
