Job Title: Fire & Security Operations Manager
Location: North West
Rate: Up to £50,000

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Fire & Security Operations Manager to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in leading day-to-day operations, managing projects, and acting as the key point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and supervise engineering teams, ensuring high standards of project delivery and compliance with industry regulations (especially NSI)
  • Act as the main client liaison, representing the company professionally at all times
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including scheduling, site preparation, coordination, and delivery
  • Remain hands-on with tools as needed, supporting engineers and ensuring technical excellence
  • Design, quote, and scope new projects in collaboration with clients and internal teams
  • Manage and schedule engineers, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently
  • Prepare and coordinate sites for project delivery, ensuring all compliance and safety measures are met
  • Support and mentor team members, fostering a positive and high-performing work culture48
  • Report directly to senior management and support the business owner (Karl) in transitioning operational responsibilities, enabling business growth

Requirements:

  • Strong background in fire and security, with in-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices (NSI accreditation experience highly desirable)
  • Previous experience in a senior engineering, supervisory, or management role within the fire and security sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills confident in client-facing situations
  • Well-presented and professional at all times
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally and stay away from home as required
  • Full UK driving licence
