Are you an experienced Fire Project Manager looking to lead high-value fire detection and gas suppression projects across the UK? As a Fire Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for delivering multiple projects nationwide, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards. You will be working for a leading national fire detection and suppression specialist with projects ranging from small installations to large-scale works valued up to £1 million.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, execute, and manage multiple fire detection and suppression projects concurrently.
- Lead project teams and coordinate internal and external resources.
- Oversee compliance with British Standards, including BS 5306, BS 8433, BS EN 15004, BS 6266, BS 5839, and BS 7671.
- Maintain financial control, manage budgets, and ensure project profitability.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service.
- Conduct risk assessments and oversee site activities nationwide.
- Ensure quality assurance, documentation, and reporting standards are maintained.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across project delivery.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within fire protection or a related engineering environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Fire Alarm, Gas Suppression, and Watermist systems.
- Experience managing projects up to £1 million in value.
- Understanding of compliance and project management methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar management tools.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
- Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
