Role: Fire Project Manager
Location: Midlands
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum + Car or Allowance
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fire Project Manager to lead and oversee fire-related projects across the Midlands. This role will involve managing teams, subcontractors, procurement, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring safety compliance across all stages of the project. As Fire Project Manager, you will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, while delivering exceptional results and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee fire projects, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices
- Manage and coordinate teams, subcontractors, and procurement processes for installations and removals
- Act as the primary point of contact, liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure all project requirements are met
- Provide training, ensure safety compliance, and manage safety records for all project activities on-site
- Develop detailed project specifications, work plans, and produce progress reports for clients and stakeholders
- Approve invoices, manage the project database, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure continued business growth
- Conduct site surveys and manage procurement of labour, equipment, and materials for the projects
- Work with the Operations Manager and Director to monitor and control project costs effectively
- Track project progress to ensure it aligns with the overall schedule, addressing any delays or issues as necessary
- Ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments across all project phases
Experience and Certifications Required:
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and industry standards
- Experience in managing large-scale fire-related projects, including team leadership, scheduling, and budgeting
- Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills for effective client and stakeholder interaction
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage multiple aspects of projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving ability to identify and resolve project challenges promptly and efficiently
