Job Title: Fire Installation Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £220 p/day
We are seeking an experienced Fire Installation Engineer to assist an in-house team with fire alarm installations in residential occupied buildings across London. The role involves installing PVC trunking using fabricated bends, as well as carrying out 1st and 2nd fix installations on Advanced and Hochiki fire alarms. You should be familiar with working in confined spaces and ensuring high standards of installation.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install PVC trunking using fabricated bends
- Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installations of Advanced and Hochiki fire alarm systems
- Work on residential occupied buildings ensuring minimal disruption to residents
- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces for cabling and installation tasks
Experience required:
- Extensive experience in fire alarm installations
- Familiarity with Advanced and Hochiki fire alarm systems (desirable)
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS (beneficial)
- No specific qualifications required, but experience is essential
- Hand tools
- Power tools
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
