Job Title: Fire Installation Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Rate: £220 p/day
We are seeking a skilled Fire Installation Engineer to join a team and help push forward a fire alarm installation project in Edinburgh. This role requires experience in working with FP200 cabling and knowledge of fire alarm systems. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring that installations are completed to a high standard.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install fire alarm systems, focusing mainly on FP200 cabling
- Ensure all installations are completed in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently
- Provide support and expertise on-site to ensure quality and accuracy
- Follow the company’s health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the project manager
Experience required:
- Extensive experience in fire alarm installations, particularly with FP200 cabling
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and industry best practices
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to solve problems on-site
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS cards (Essential)
- Fire alarm installation experience is required
- IPAF (Beneficial)
- Standard hand tools
- Power tools
- Full PPE (including high-vis, gloves, safety boots)
- Stepladders
