Job Title: Fire Installation Engineer
Location: Bedford
Rate: £220 p/day
We are recruiting for a Fire Installation Engineer to work on-site in Bedford. The role will involve containment work using 25mm PBC tubing and general installation tasks, including cable pulling and wiring. This is a straightforward installation project with no complex commissioning required.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Carry out containment work using 25mm PBC tubing
- Perform general fire installation duties including cable pulling and wiring
- Follow site drawings and instructions to complete works to specification
- Work in line with site safety procedures and industry regulations
Experience required:
- Gent system training (beneficial, not essential)
- Previous fire installation experience
- Ability to work from drawings and follow installation plans
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS Card (essential)
- DBS (essential)
- Hand tools and drills
- Standard power tools
- Full PPE: high-vis, safety boots, hard hat
