Role : Fire Extinguisher Technician

Are you a Fire Extinguisher Technician looking to work for a growing and reputable fire safety company? This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking business delivering high-quality fire extinguisher servicing and maintenance to clients across the South East. You’ll work independently, managing your own schedule, and play a key role in supporting compliance and safety standards across commercial and residential sites.
Responsibilities :
● Service, maintain, and install portable fire extinguishers, hose reels, and suppression systems
● Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with relevant British Standards and regulations
● Carry out planned service visits efficiently while maintaining excellent time management
● Deliver a professional and customer-focused experience during every client interaction
● Accurately complete all relevant service paperwork and documentation
● Maintain van stock, tools, and equipment to ensure service readiness
● Participate in training and development sessions to keep up with industry best practice
Experience and Certifications Required:
● A minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers
● Recognised industry qualification (BAFE, FETA, or equivalent)
● Practical knowledge of mechanical fire protection systems
● Excellent customer service and communication skills
● Full UK driving licence (essential)
● Experience with hose reels or fire suppression systems (desirable)
