Job Title: Fire Detection Site Manager
Location: Cheshire
Rate: £360 p/day
We are seeking an experienced Fire Detection Site Manager to manage a Fire Detection project at a waste facility in Cheshire. The role will involve overseeing the installation of enhanced cable with secondary containment, heavy-duty tray and conduit, ensuring compliance with BS5839 standards. You will be responsible for managing site operatives and subcontract labour, maintaining health and safety protocols, managing site permits, and providing weekly progress reports. The role will also require close collaboration with other mechanical trades on site.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Site management of a Fire Detection project at a waste facility
- Ensure all installations meet work specifications and comply with BS5839
- Manage site operatives and subcontract labour
- Oversee health and safety management on-site
- Manage site permits and audit works
- Issue weekly progress reports to stakeholders
- Work closely with other mechanical trades on-site
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire/electrical site management
- Strong understanding of installation regulations in accordance with BS5839
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS Card (Essential)
- SMSTS (Essential)
- First Aid (Essential)
- Hi-Viz, trousers, long sleeves (Hi-Viz coat recommended)
