Role: Fire Contracts Manager
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + Car
Technical Resources are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for its Fire Stopping department in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to manage fire stopping contracts across multiple sites, ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality installations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of current and future fire stopping contracts.
- Complete Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and maintain safety documentation efficiently.
- Stay up to date with health and safety legislation, incorporating changes into workflows as needed.
- Ensure installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications through inspection and oversight.
- Plan workloads for labour and material deliveries to ensure sufficient quantities are available on-site.
- Conduct client meetings and surveys across various locations in the Midlands and London (a driving license and vehicle are essential).
- Actively maintain CPD (Continuous Personal Development) logs, with opportunities for management training such as Level 7 Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS) and Fire Accreditation Scheme (FIRAS).
Experience and Certifications Required:
- NVQ Level 3 in Fire Stopping.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
- Clean UK driving license.
- FIRAS/Qmark experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
