Job Title:
Fire Commissioning Engineer
Location:
Newcastle
Rate: £250 to £300 p/day
Are you a Fire Commissioning Engineer based in the Newcastle area? This role will involve commissioning works on Gent and Advanced fire alarm systems across multiple sites within NE postcodes. You will be supporting small works, commissioning new interfaces, and integrating additional devices into existing systems for a leading fire and life-safety solutions provider.
Description of contract/programme of works:
● Commissioning Gent and Advanced fire alarm systems.
● Completing small works and installing interfaces.
● Adding existing devices to current zones.
● Interpreting project programmes to determine sectors and commissioning requirements.
Experience required:
● Proven experience commissioning Gent and Advanced fire alarm systems.
● Strong understanding of fire alarm integration and small-works commissioning.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
● ECS Card.
● Laptop with relevant commissioning software.
● Full PPE and hand tools.
