Job Title: Fire Commissioning Engineer
Location: Midlands
Rate: £310 p/day
Are you a Fire Commissioning Engineer with the software and laptop required to complete commissioning? We are recruiting for an engineer to carry out commissioning of Gent, Advanced, and Notifier systems across the Midlands.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Commissioning of fire alarm systems (one job per day)

Systems include:
- Gent – 70% of works
- Advanced – 20% of works
- Notifier – 10% of works
- Following installation teams to complete commissioning (all systems handed over fault-free)
- Initial Teams call with PM prior to starting works
Experience required:
- Gent-certified engineer with software and commissioning laptop – Essential
- Previous experience commissioning Advanced and Notifier panels – Beneficial
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS Card – Essential
- DBS within last 5 years – Essential
- Hand tools – Essential
- Laptop with commissioning software – Essential
- Full PPE – Essential
