Role: Fire and Security Technical Support Engineer
Location: Craigavon
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Technical Resources are looking for an experienced Fire and Security Technical Support Engineer based in Craigavon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with technical expertise in fire and security systems to provide technical support to both internal engineers and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end users and engineers both internally and externally
- Ensure prompt and accurate information is scheduled and delivered
- Prioritise workload to meet contractual deadlines
- Handle customer telephone calls, ensuring high internal customer service standards are met
- Respond to first-line support requests, resolving issues where possible before escalating to the service team
- Support the Service Scheduling Team when required
- Assist with any reasonable requests from the line supervisors and Head of Service
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience across multiple disciplines including Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire systems
- Customer-focused approach
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong team player
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- General product knowledge on fire systems
- Experience with network/IP-based products
- Experience with UDL software across Galaxy, ATS, Intruder Alarm Panels
- Experience working with Cash4Windows
- Experience working with enterprise-wide networked CCTV systems including Hikvision and Cathexis
- Experience with remote programming of industry-standard systems in enterprise-wide networked access control
