: Fire and Security Technical Helpdesk Manager

£40,000 to £50,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Fire and Security Technician or Senior Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading fire and security company in a head office-based technical support role, providing expert guidance to field engineers and customers to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and manage a new technical helpdesk service to support field engineers and customers.
- Monitor and analyse technical support metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide technical support to the customer service team and technical helpdesk.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are up to date with the latest technologies.
- Manage and monitor cloud-based systems and remote maintenance platforms.
- Support operations with bench testing of new products and equipment.
- Participate in technical reviews, audits, and management meetings.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience within the fire and security industry.
- Proven experience as a Senior Multi-Skilled Technician or similar technical role.
- Strong technical understanding of fire and security systems including installation, configuration, and fault-finding.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
