Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: South London
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer with a strong background in planned and reactive maintenance? We are recruiting for an engineer to carry out PPMs, servicing, and maintenance across fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder systems, and emergency lighting on sites across South London and the surrounding region.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Completion of a minimum of 5 PPMs per day
- Servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems (Advanced, Haes, Notifier, Gent)
- CCTV servicing (IP and analogue systems, including Hikvision)
- Intruder alarm maintenance (Galaxy, Premier, Menvier, Texecom)
- Access control systems (Paxton)
- Emergency lighting maintenance and testing
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years’ fire and security service and maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge across fire alarms, CCTV, intruder, and access control systems
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS – Essential
- BS7858 vetting must have been started – Essential
- Hand tools and drills – Essential
- Fire test equipment – Essential
- Steps and ladders – Essential
- Full PPE – Essential
- Android phone or tablet (for electronic dockets) – Essential
- Additional fire qualifications – Beneficial
