Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: South London
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer position working in South London? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be expected to complete a range of service and maintenance calls for the end customer across fire, access control, intruder, and CCTV systems. You will be working for a specialist contractor delivering works to clients including councils, Vodafone, NHS, and Co-Op sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Servicing and maintenance of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems (essential)
- Servicing and maintenance of access control systems (Paxton, PAC Net2 – beneficial)
- Servicing and maintenance of intruder alarm systems (Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic – beneficial)
- Servicing and maintenance of CCTV systems (IP and analogue – beneficial)
- Covering commercial and public sector sites primarily in South London and surrounding areas
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire and security service and maintenance
- Experience with fire, intruder, access control, and CCTV systems
- Familiarity with BS7858 vetting requirements (must have vetting started)
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Hand tools and power drill
- Fire test equipment
- Steps and ladders
- Laptop
- PPE
- Android phone or tablet (to download CASH app – essential)
