Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Peterborough
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a skilled Fire and Security Service Engineer looking for a new challenge in Peterborough? We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to handle small works, remedial calls, and routine service and maintenance for a variety of clients. You will be working on a wide range of systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and fire alarm systems. If you have a passion for ensuring systems are running efficiently and meeting client expectations, this is the role for you!
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Complete small works, service, maintenance, and remedial calls for clients.
- Work with CCTV (IP/Analogue systems), Intruder alarms (Galaxy, Texacom, Scantronic), Access Control (Paxton, Pac Net2), and Fire alarms (addressable and conventional).
- Work across various sites including councils, Vodafone, NHS, and Co-Op premises.
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in service and maintenance of fire and security systems.
- Experience with CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire alarm systems.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- BS7858 vetting (must be started).
- Hand tools, drill, steps, PPE, ladders, and laptop.
- Fire test equipment.
- Android phone or tablet to download the CASH app (essential).
