Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Nottingham and Derby
Rate: £220 p/day
We are seeking a skilled Fire and Security Service Engineer to complete scheduled service, maintenance, and small works across the Nottingham and Derby area. You'll be working across a range of commercial systems including fire, CCTV, intruder, and access control. Engineers are expected to complete a minimum of 5 PPMs per day, with support from a well-established service team.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Carry out service and maintenance across the following systems:
- Fire Alarms: Addressable and Conventional
- CCTV: IP & Analogue
- Intruder: Galaxy, Texacom, Scantronic
- Access Control: Paxton, PAC Net2
- Complete small remedial works where required
- Maintain service records via the CASH app (Android device required)
- Cover sites across the Nottingham/Derby region
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in fire and security service and maintenance
- Security-only engineers may be considered if experienced across multiple systems
- Confident working independently to PPM targets
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- BS7858 vetting must be started (essential)
- Android smartphone or tablet (CASH app required)
- Hand tools, drill, steps, ladders, laptop, full PPE
- Fire testing kit (beneficial)
