Role: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum + Call Out Bonus
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire and Security Service Engineer to join a growing team in Nottingham. This role offers excellent opportunities for development, where you will be trained to become a fully qualified Fire and Security Engineer. Most of the work will be in Nottingham and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Attend training workshops and certified training days to become fully qualified.
- Shadow other Engineers to carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites in Nottingham.
- Learn to diagnose, fault-find, and perform routine fire alarm installations.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Apprenticeship or trained to NVQ Level 3 standard in Electrical Installations (Essential).
- Holder of 18th Edition qualification (Desirable, but not essential).
- Full UK driving license (Required).
- Holder of DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one (Required).
- Ability to build professional relationships with customers.
- Basic knowledge of fire alarm servicing/installations (Advantageous).
- Flexible with overtime and call-outs when required.
