Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer

Location: North West

Rate: £220 p/day

Are you looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer position working in the North West? As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and servicing on fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and emergency lighting across various sites. You will be working for a reputable contractor delivering compliance and security solutions.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Service and maintenance of addressable and conventional fire alarm panels – Advanced, Haes, Notifier, Gent
  • PPMs and servicing of CCTV systems – IP and analogue (Hikvision)
  • Service and maintenance of intruder systems – Galaxy, Premier, Menvier, Texecom
  • Access control servicing – Paxton
  • Testing and maintenance of emergency lighting
  • Complete a minimum of 5 PPMs per day

Experience required:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ fire and security service and maintenance experience
  • Proven knowledge of the systems listed above
  • Ability to work across multiple sites independently

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • DBS (essential)
  • Relevant fire and/or security qualifications (beneficial)
  • Hand tools, fire test equipment, drills, steps and ladders, full PPE
  • Android phone or tablet for electronic docket completion
