Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: North West
Rate: £220 p/day
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a wide range of fire and security systems. This role covers sites throughout the North West, working with both addressable and conventional panels.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Complete PPM works on Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Emergency Lighting

Service and maintain a variety of systems including:
- Fire Alarms: Advanced, Haes, Notifier, Gent
- CCTV: IP & analogue (Hikvision)
- Intruder: Galaxy, Premier, Menvier, Texecom
- Access Control: Paxton
- Accurately complete electronic dockets using Android phone or tablet
- Ensure works are completed in line with industry standards and client expectations
- Maintain high levels of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on client sites
E xperience required:
- Minimum 5 years' experience across both fire and security systems
- Familiarity with the systems listed above
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS certificate (essential)
- ECS card and other fire qualifications (beneficial)
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Hand tools, fire test equipment, drills, steps, ladders, full PPE
- Android phone or tablet for completing job reports
