Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire and Security Service Engineer in Milton Keynes with experience across fire alarms, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems? We are recruiting for a long-term contract supporting service, small works, and remedial callouts across a mix of council, NHS, retail, and telecoms sites. You’ll need to hit the ground running and be confident across multiple systems.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Carry out planned maintenance, remedial works and small installations
- Work across sites such as local councils, NHS facilities, Co-Ops, and Vodafone
- Systems include:
- Fire (addressable & conventional) – essential
- Intruder (Galaxy, Texacom, Scantronic) – beneficial
- Access Control (Paxton, PAC Net2) – beneficial
- CCTV (IP/Analogue) – beneficial
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years in Fire and Security service and maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Confident working independently on multi-system sites
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- BS7858 vetting process must be underway
- Android smartphone or tablet (for CASH app)
- Hand tools, drill, fire testing equipment, PPE, steps, ladders, laptop
