Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Midlands (covering North East and surrounding areas)
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire and Security Service Engineer based in the Midlands? We are recruiting for an experienced engineer to carry out reactive maintenance and PPMs on fire alarms, with additional work across CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. Fire alarm servicing will be the main focus, with security systems a bonus.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Servicing and PPMs on conventional and addressable fire alarms (Gent, Morley, Kentec)
- Reactive maintenance and small remedials as required
- Testing and maintenance of emergency lighting
- Elements of CCTV, intruder, and access control work where required
- Covering sites across the North East and surrounding Midlands areas
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven competence in servicing fire alarms and emergency lighting
- Experience with CCTV, access control and intruder alarms (beneficial)
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Fire testing kit – essential
- Hand tools and power tools – essential
- Full PPE – essential
- Car or van – essential
- Smart phone – essential
