Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Fife
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer role covering Fife and surrounding areas? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you’ll be carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), servicing, and some installation work across council properties, including housing, schools, libraries, and domestic buildings.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service, PPMs, and remedials on Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms
- Minor installation works across similar systems
- Sites include schools, libraries, council housing, and offices
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fire and security industry
- Competent across service and small works
- Familiarity with council and education environments preferred
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS card – essential
- Asbestos Awareness – beneficial
- PVG – must be eligible to apply
- Own hand tools, power tools, steps, ladders, and fire testing equipment
- Full PPE
