Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Central Belt
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer position working in the Central Belt and Edinburgh region? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems across various commercial and residential sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
Service and maintenance of CCTV – IP and analogue systems (Cathexis beneficial)
Service and maintenance of intruder systems – Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic
Service and maintenance of access control – Paxton, PAC Net2
Service and maintenance of conventional and addressable fire alarms
Complete a minimum of 5 planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits per day
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience across fire, CCTV, intruder, and access control systems
- Cathexis experience beneficial
- Security-only engineers may also be considered
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- BS7858 vetting to have begun
- Hand tools and drills
- Full PPE
