Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Cambridge / Peterborough / Luton / St Albans
Rate: £220 p/day
We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to carry out PPMs and small maintenance tasks across multiple sites. The works include service and testing of both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems as well as a wide range of electronic security systems.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Conducting routine maintenance and PPMs across designated sites
- Diagnosing faults and ensuring system performance
- Completing electronic job sheets on an Android device/tablet
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures
- Systems covered:
- Fire Alarms: Advanced, Haes, Notifier, Gent
- CCTV: IP and Analogue (Hikvision)
- Intruder Alarms: Galaxy, Premier, Menvier, Texecom
- Access Control: Paxton
- Emergency Lighting
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing fire and security systems
- Must have own hand tools, power tools, fire test equipment, steps/ladders, and full 5-point PPE
- Must have Android phone or tablet for completing job dockets
Required docume ntation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS Certificate required
- ECS / FIA units / Manufacturer training (e.g. Advanced, Gent etc.)
