Job Title: Fire and Security Service engineer
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £240 p/day + mileage and expenses
We are recruiting an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems across Job Centre sites within the Birmingham area. This role is ideal for a multi-skilled engineer confident in working independently and delivering high-quality maintenance and service across a range of systems.
Description of contract/programme of works:

Conduct PPM and reactive maintenance across designated sites

Service, test, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems

Identify and rectify faults efficiently

Complete all service documentation accurately and submit reports on time

Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Experience required:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Fire and Security service and maintenance

Proven fault-finding and diagnostic ability

Confident working independently across multiple system types

Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card
