Role: Fire and Security Service and Installation Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum + Overtime + Call out + Travel Time
Technical Resources are seeking a Fire and Security Service and Installation Engineer in the Manchester area. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining fire alarms, fire extinguishers, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and associated preventative equipment across domestic, commercial, and industrial premises.
Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, service, and maintain fire alarms, fire extinguishers, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and related equipment.
- Conduct fault finding and general maintenance/repairs on fire and security systems.
- Represent the company on-site, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of work completed.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Installation and commissioning experience with a wide range of fire alarm control panels (both conventional and addressable).
- Experience with security equipment (intruder alarms, CCTV, access control) is beneficial.
- Proven track record in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
- FIA recognised qualification (preferred).
- UK driving license (Essential).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in fire extinguishers, security equipment, and fire alarms (preferred but not essential).
- Additional training will be provided where necessary.
